Maximizing Mobile Productivity
Our mobile apps bring full platform capability to your smartphone or tablet. Understanding mobile-specific features and optimization helps you stay productive on the go.
Mobile-Optimized Interface
The mobile interface adapts to smaller screens with touch-first design. Navigation uses hamburger menus and bottom tabs for thumb-friendly access. Swipe gestures provide quick actions—swipe left or right on items for context actions. Pull-to-refresh updates content in most views. Long-press items to reveal additional options. The interface automatically switches between portrait and landscape orientations, adjusting layout for your viewing angle.
Offline Mode
Mobile apps support offline work when internet isn't available. Content recently viewed is automatically cached for offline access. Any changes you make offline are queued and sync when connectivity returns. Offline mode works great for viewing reference material, drafting content, or marking tasks complete. Complex operations requiring server interaction are queued until you're back online.
To maximize offline capability, open items you'll need before losing connectivity. The app caches them for offline access. You can also manually pin items for offline availability in the item menu.
Push Notifications
Push notifications keep you informed of important activity. Configure notification settings in the app's settings menu to control what alerts you receive. You can enable notifications for @mentions of you, comments on your content, assignments, status changes, or due date reminders. Notification channels on Android let you customize each notification type separately. iOS allows notification grouping by conversation or project.
Manage notification timing with "Do Not Disturb" scheduling in the app—set quiet hours when you won't receive alerts. This respects your work-life balance while keeping you connected during work hours.
Photo and File Management
Mobile apps integrate with your device's camera and photos. Capture photos directly from within the app to attach to projects or tasks. Scan documents using your camera—the app detects document edges and corrects perspective. Upload photos from your photo library. Record and attach audio notes using your device's microphone. Access files from cloud storage connected to your device.
The app compresses photos before upload on cellular connections to save data. On Wi-Fi, full-resolution uploads ensure highest quality. You can adjust this behavior in settings.
Biometric Authentication
Face ID, Touch ID, and fingerprint authentication provide secure, convenient access. Enable biometric authentication in app settings under Security. Once enabled, you'll authenticate with biometrics instead of entering your password each time. Your password is still required occasionally for security-sensitive actions or after extended app inactivity.
Biometric data never leaves your device—authentication happens locally and unlocks your stored credentials. This is more secure than storing passwords in your device's autofill system.
Battery and Data Optimization
Our apps are optimized for efficiency but you can adjust settings for extended battery life or reduced data usage. Enable "Low Power Mode" in app settings to reduce background sync frequency, disable animations, and limit background data. On cellular connections, enable "Reduce Data Usage" to compress images, limit video quality, and defer non-essential sync. Set "Sync over Wi-Fi only" to prevent cellular data usage entirely.
Battery usage is visible in your device's battery settings. Our app uses minimal background battery—if you notice excessive usage, ensure you're on the latest app version and consider reducing background sync frequency.
